$120
The $120 price is for a 50-minute individual counselling session.
Sessions are usually 50 minutes, as this length is considered the most effective for a productive session and it follows standard professional guidelines.
Some people are eligible for financial assistance through external agencies such as ACC
I am ACC registered to assist sensitive claims.
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made outside this notice period incur no fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or if you do not attend, a late-cancellation fee may be charged.
This fee reflects the reserved clinical time and is standard practice in New Zealand.
ACC funds only appointments that are attended and completed. ACC funds a certain number of DNA's (Did Not Attend) each year which are only funded if notice is given
If an ACC-funded appointment is missed or cancelled at short notice and no further DNA fees are available to you, ACC will not provide payment for that session.
In accordance with my cancellation policy, where an appointment is not attended or is cancelled with insufficient notice, the client may be charged a fee equivalent to 50% of the standard session fee. This fee is the responsibility of the client and is not covered by ACC.
I understand that genuine emergencies can occur.
In cases of sudden illness, accidents, or serious family events, the late-cancellation fee may be waived at my discretion.
If you need to cancel, please notify me as soon as possible.
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
